Trust is your product. Your digital presence should earn it.
We help clinics, wellness studios, health tech companies, and consumer health brands build the design infrastructure that converts sceptical audiences into confident clients — without overclaiming or underdelivering.
Philosophy
The digital infrastructure that builds patient and client trust.
Health and wellness audiences make decisions slowly and abandon quickly when something feels off. Every touchpoint: from your website to your booking flow to your content, either builds or erodes the trust that drives conversion.
Accessibility compliance
WCAG 2.1 AA across all digital touchpoints — legally required and commercially essential for health audiences who include older, disabled, and neurodivergent users.
Brand identity and positioning
Positioning that communicates expertise without arrogance, warmth without vagueness. Visual identity systems that work across clinical, digital, and consumer touchpoints.
Booking and patient journey design
UX design for appointment flows, intake forms, and patient portals. Designed to reduce drop-off, build confidence at the point of decision, and work across devices.
Content design and SEO
Health content strategy, information architecture, and editorial systems built for organic search — without keyword stuffing, without overclaiming, without compromising your professional reputation.
CRM and client operations
Automated follow-up sequences, membership and subscription flows, referral systems, and internal tooling that keeps your team focused on care, not admin.
Health tech and app design
UX and product design for health apps, wearables, and digital therapeutics. Research-led, clinician-informed, and built for the real behaviour of people managing their health.
Ongoing digital support for a trust-sensitive category.
FAQ
Do you understand health sector regulations and compliance requirements?
We understand the design and content implications of operating in a regulated health environment — ASA guidelines on health claims, CQC registration requirements for clinical providers, GDPR obligations for health data, and the broader reputational risk of overclaiming in a sceptical category.
We don't provide legal or regulatory advice, but we design with compliance in mind from the start — flagging risk areas, building content structures that support accurate claims, and never producing copy that we know exceeds your evidence base.
Can you integrate with our booking system or EHR platform?
In most cases yes. We've designed around and integrated with a range of booking and practice management systems. We assess your existing tech stack at the start of any engagement and design the patient journey around what you have — or recommend alternatives if what you're using is limiting your conversion.
For EHR and clinical record systems, our work typically sits at the front-end — the patient-facing interface and booking flow — rather than touching clinical record infrastructure directly.
How do you handle patient data and GDPR in your design work?
We design compliant consent flows, cookie banners, and data collection forms as standard. We don't store or process patient data on our systems — all client data stays within your infrastructure. We'll also flag if a proposed feature would create data obligations you may not have considered.
For organisations handling special category health data under UK GDPR, we recommend a review with your DPO before any new data-collecting feature goes live — and we'll design with that review process in mind.
We serve an older demographic. Can you design for that audience?
Yes — and this is where accessibility and UX research earn their cost. Older audiences have specific needs around font size, contrast, touch target size, and cognitive load. We design to WCAG 2.1 AA as a baseline, and for audiences with a significant older demographic, we go further — larger type scales, reduced motion, simplified navigation, and plain language content design.
We test with real users where budget allows, and we can recommend research methods appropriate to your audience.
How do you balance warmth and clinical credibility in the brand?
That tension is central to health and wellness brand design — and getting it wrong in either direction is costly. Too clinical, and you feel cold and inaccessible. Too warm, and you feel unserious. The answer is almost always in the typography and tone of voice rather than colour or imagery.
We start with positioning — who you serve, what you're treating or offering, and what your clients are afraid of before they book. From there, every design decision is anchored to a real audience insight rather than aesthetic preference.
Can you help with content strategy without writing medical content?
Yes. We design the content architecture, SEO structure, and editorial system — then you or your clinical team populate the medically accurate content within that framework. We can also work alongside a medical copywriter if you need one, handling the design and information architecture while they handle clinical accuracy.
What we won't do is write health claims, treatment descriptions, or condition information without clinical review. That's your expertise, not ours — and we're clear about that boundary from the start.
We're a solo practitioner or small clinic. Is a retainer right for us?
It depends on what you need ongoing versus what you need once. A solo practitioner typically needs a strong website, a booking flow that works, and a brand that communicates their expertise — and that's often best addressed as a project rather than a retainer.
Once those foundations are in place, a retainer makes sense if you're producing regular content, running campaigns, or growing into a multi-practitioner model. We'll tell you honestly which fits your situation — we'd rather scope something appropriate than sell you capacity you won't use.
What's the difference between your retainer tiers for a health brand?
The Studio Retainer (£2,400/mo) gives you a dedicated four-person team handling design, content, and operations day-to-day. The Advisor Retainer (£4,400/mo) adds direct access to the founder for strategic decisions — useful if you're navigating a rebrand, a new service launch, or a market expansion. The Embedded Partner (£8,500/mo) is founder-led execution plus the full team — the founder works as a principal designer and co-director on your account.
For most health and wellness brands, the Studio Retainer is the right starting point. You can move tiers as your needs grow.
