PurerAir is a Decentralised Science (DeSci) initiative combining wearable air quality technology with blockchain-backed transparency. Noran Design partnered with the team to shape a clear, trustworthy brand and intuitive digital experience that empowers everyday users to understand and improve their indoor environments while contributing to a global sensor network.
Challenge
Making scientific data engaging and easy to understand.
The platform needed to communicate technical environmental metrics such as VOCs, PM2.5, CO₂, and noise levels in a way that felt approachable for non-technical users. At the same time, the brand had to build trust in a cutting-edge Web3 ecosystem while appealing to users, investors, and ESG-focused partners.

A clean brand and intuitive data-driven interface.
We developed a minimalist brand identity anchored in clean blue tones to reflect clarity and trust. Across the website and product interface, complex data was transformed into intuitive dashboards, visual indicators, real-time alerts, and clear impact summaries. Gamified elements such as token rewards were integrated to encourage participation. Beyond design, we led UX strategy, collaborated closely with the engineering team, and created marketing and investor presentation assets.
