How East London Community Sports Association built a digital home that matched their community impact.
Situation
A fragmented brand and underperforming website were limiting community reach and grant eligibility.
ELCSA, previously known online as Sports Hub E15, needed to establish a consistent digital identity under its new name. The organisation's branding and messaging were inconsistent across online channels, making it harder for audiences to understand the relationship between the former and current identities. It also needed a stronger digital foundation to communicate its work, serve its audiences and meet the technical requirements associated with Google Ad Grants. The existing website was limiting performance and accessibility, while the inconsistent branding reduced clarity and credibility. It also created a weak foundation for ongoing communication and digital campaign activity. ELCSA required a unified brand and website that could support its mission operationally, not simply present information online.

What We Did
A unified brand and compliant website built for reach, performance and continuity.
01. Brand consolidation and website redesign We consolidated the organisation's online identity around the ELCSA brand, replacing the inconsistency between ELCSA and Sports Hub E15. We then redesigned the website around clearer information architecture, improved accessibility and stronger technical performance. The work brought the website into compliance for Google Ad Grants and created a more reliable platform for reaching relevant audiences through search. 02. Performance and accessibility improvements We addressed the underlying experience and performance issues affecting the site. Page-load performance improved by 40%, while the accessibility score increased from 45 to 95. 03. Social media system We created a set of social media templates to give ELCSA a more consistent and efficient way to communicate its work across digital channels. 04. Ongoing digital infrastructure support We continue to host and monitor the website, including uptime and security tracking. This provides ELCSA with a stable digital foundation and allows issues to be identified before they disrupt public access.
