The situation
A clear mission, undermined by a digital presence that was not grant-ready.
Revenue from digital channels was minimal. The website did not communicate credibility to funders or donors. The team was managing donor communications manually with no automation or tracking. A National Lottery Community Fund grant had been a long-term goal — but the organisation's digital presence was not at the standard required to support a successful application.

What we did
A rebuilt site, donor automation, Google Ad Grant activation, and grant application support.
We redesigned the website to lead with impact and credibility — clear mission statement, evidence of outcomes, accessible design, and a donor journey that guided visitors toward giving. WCAG AA compliance was achieved throughout. We set up email automation for donor onboarding, regular updates, and appeals, and connected their CRM to track donor activity. We helped the organisation qualify for and activate a Google Ad Grant, providing up to £10,000 per month in free advertising. The improved digital presence directly supported a successful National Lottery Community Fund application.


The results
The combination of a credible digital presence, automated donor systems, and activated grant advertising transformed Disability Equals Ability's revenue position. The National Lottery grant — previously out of reach — came directly as a result of the improved digital infrastructure.
