The Client
One World Trust is a UK-based charitable organization working at the forefront of global governance. With ties to UK Parliament and consultative status at the United Nations ECOSOC, the organization addresses pressing global issues like poverty, environmental degradation, and AI ethics. Their work influences policymaking at the highest levels and bridges the gap between research and real-world impact.
The Challenge
Despite their significance, the organization’s previous website failed to reflect their influence and mission. Poor information architecture made it hard for users to find key reports and initiatives. Accessibility issues, outdated design, and a lack of responsive structure alienated users. Volunteers struggled with an inflexible CMS, and vital actions — like donations and partnership visibility — were buried or unclear.
The Solution
We led a strategic redesign of the website from the ground up. The new information architecture placed One World Trust’s three key programs — AI Governance, Environmental Governance, and Global Governance — at the core of the user journey. Each initiative now has a dedicated, visually engaging space with reports, case studies, and real-world outcomes. The site was made fully WCAG-compliant with strong color contrast, alt text, and responsive design. We implemented a powerful, easy-to-use CMS so that staff and volunteers could confidently manage updates across programs, events, and research. Clear donation CTAs and newsletter sign-ups were integrated alongside automated email flows and visual partner showcases.
The Impact
One World Trust now has a website that mirrors the depth and scope of its mission. Accessibility is no longer a barrier, with a clean, modern design that works for all users. Engagement increased through streamlined calls to action and improved content visibility. Volunteers can now manage the site with ease, ensuring it remains dynamic and up to date. Most importantly, the new platform helps the organization present its global impact with clarity, credibility, and confidence.
