Noran Design started in Colchester and has grown from here into a studio working with 130+ organisations across 15 countries. In 2026, we were named East of England Global Startup of the Year at the UK Startup Awards — competing against some of the fastest-growing businesses in the region.

We're not a large agency. We're a focused team of four that works closely with a select number of clients at any one time — which means the quality of attention you get from us is genuinely different from what a larger studio can offer.

Are you actually based in Colchester?

Yes. Noran Design was founded and is based in Colchester. We're not a London agency with a local landing page — we're genuinely rooted here. In 2026 we were recognised as East of England Global Startup of the Year at the UK Startup Awards.

Do you offer in-person meetings in Colchester?

Yes, for local clients who prefer it — particularly at project kickoff or key review stages. Most of our work is handled remotely and asynchronously, which our clients find more efficient than frequent in-person sessions. But if you're in Colchester and want to meet in person, we're happy to arrange it.

What's the difference between working with you and a London agency?
