Why this programme exists
Over the past two months, we have spoken to 80+ nonprofits and mission-led organisations about their digital challenges.
The pattern was clear: the digital work was important, but nobody had the time, structure or specialist support to keep improving it proactively.
Most nonprofits do not have a digital problem because they lack care, ambition or good ideas.
They have a digital problem because the system around them was not designed for small teams.
One person updates the website when they have time.
A volunteer holds the analytics login.
A campaign page is created days before launch.
A broken link stays live because nobody knows it is broken.
The Google Ad Grant sits unused while paid advertising remains out of reach.
None of this happens because the organisation is not capable.
It happens because meaningful work is often carried by teams who are already stretched.
That is why we created Noran Impact: to make strategic digital support accessible to organisations doing work that deserves to be seen, understood and supported.
Nonprofits deserve access to strategic digital thinking too.
I’ve worked in environments where digital systems are treated as critical infrastructure, from Expedia Group’s Data & AI division to AI startup leadership. Charities deserve access to that kind of thinking too.
Too often, small teams are left to manage websites, campaigns, analytics and digital decisions reactively, with limited time and fragmented support.
Noran Impact is our way of making senior digital guidance more accessible, practical and sustainable for organisations doing meaningful work.

Approach
Our iterative approach
We do not believe charities need more overwhelming strategy documents.
They need a clear starting point, a practical roadmap and a digital partner who can help them keep improving.
That is why Noran Impact is built around a 3-month support cycle:
Offering
Every plan includes

Noran Pulse™ Dashboard
Includes access to our flagship analytics platform, Noran Pulse™ Scale Plan, worth £199/month. Track key website, campaign and social metrics in one place, with clearer insight into what is working and what needs attention.

Uptime and Issue Monitoring
We monitor your website’s availability and key technical signals, helping flag downtime or major issues before your audience has to tell you.

3-Month Digital Roadmap
A practical roadmap tailored to your organisation, showing what to fix, improve and prioritise over the next 3 months.

Private Support Channel
A dedicated space to ask questions, share updates and keep digital work moving without everything getting buried in email.
Shift
From reactive support to proactive digital partnership
Many charities only notice digital problems after they have already cost time, trust or opportunity. Noran Impact helps you spot issues earlier, make better decisions and turn repeated manual work into clearer systems your team can rely on.
What often happens now
Website downtime is discovered days later because a supporter, donor or service user reports it.
Broken links, unclear pages or donation friction go unnoticed until a campaign underperforms.
Website updates only happen when someone has spare time.
The Google Ad Grant is not used, underused or at risk of non-compliance. This can mean missing out on up to £7,000 per month in Google Search advertising credit.
Analytics sit across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, email platforms and spreadsheets, making it hard to see what is actually working.
Digital knowledge sits with one staff member, freelancer or volunteer, then disappears when responsibilities change.
Repeated manual work takes up time that could be spent on services, fundraising or community engagement.
Campaign pages are created last minute without clear tracking, audience journey or conversion thinking.
External support is reactive: someone is called when something breaks.
What Noran Impact changes
We monitor uptime and help flag issues quickly, so problems can be addressed before they quietly damage trust.
We review key user journeys and highlight the issues most likely to affect trust, enquiries or donations.
You get structured monthly support for priority website updates, content improvements and digital fixes.
We help review Google Ad Grant readiness, compliance risks, campaign structure and landing page quality so your organisation is better positioned to use the grant effectively.
We help bring key metrics into one unified dashboard and provide data-driven insight, so decisions are based on evidence rather than guesswork.
We help create clearer systems, reusable templates and documentation so knowledge can transfer across volunteers, staff and job functions.
We identify recurring workflows that can be turned into systems, templates or light automation to free up internal capacity.
We help structure campaign pages around audience needs, calls to action and measurable outcomes.
Noran acts as a proactive digital partner, helping your organisation improve continuously rather than only responding to emergencies.

ROI
Why this can pay for itself
The cost of weak digital infrastructure is often hidden. It shows up as missed donations, underused campaigns, lost volunteer time, broken user journeys and decisions made without reliable data. Noran Impact helps reduce that hidden cost by improving the systems that already support your awareness, fundraising and service delivery.
Google Ad Grant
Up to £7,000/month in Google Search advertising credit, subject to eligibility and compliance.
Website Trust
Fewer broken links, clearer journeys and a stronger first impression for donors, funders and service users.
Team Time
Less repeated manual work and miscommunication through clearer systems, templates and light automation.
Campaign Performance
Better landing pages, tracking and calls to action, so campaigns are easier to measure and improve.
Decision Making
Cross-channel visibility through Noran Pulse™ and data-driven recommendations.
Knowledge Retention
Less reliance on one volunteer, staff member or freelancer holding all the digital knowledge.
